Genetiq does DNA analysis to help people with Blood tests, detailed DNA analysis,
longevity, ancestry, and more.

I was hired to create a python based backend solution in django to handle upload of
large files (120+ gb hosted on AWS. Establish an infrastructure for connecting
Nextflow DNA Analysis to generating and sharing detailed reports to VR and mobile
applications.

Main challenges: Speed and security of the system. I worked with the Devops team to
ensure that sensitive data is encrypted and behind firewalls etc to comply with
worldwide policies.
