That included brand new devices purchased in bulk and single orders, old & used phones coming from Telco companies, and repair devices coming from our overseas branch. They had 5+ different sectors that these devices are assigned to and are rigorously tested in-house.
Initially, all the operational tasks were being carried out manually. This imposed great technical and clerical challenges to expanding and increasing both the in-flow and out-flow of its IT assets, not just limited to smartphones.
Vision:
Alleviating bottlenecks faced in keeping a track of stock, the condition of devices, and the operational handling of the myriad devices that make through our facility daily. The AMS is a functional solution to automatically retrieving and keeping a solid record of all prevalent device information, reducing human errors, and garnering profit.

Thus, automation via a web app was essential. I had several meetings with company authorities to analyze their requirements and devise proper plans keeping in view the time and cost-effectiveness.
The system I designed and build was used to track what devices are coming in, where they are located at all times, and all relevant information (device & diagnostics) pertaining to a single asset, amongst other features. Furthermore, the system had essential ERP capabilities such as invoicing, adding, and managing customers/suppliers, business expenditure, reporting, and much more!
